Taylor Gaunce (LCT, RP, CCC) Taylor holds a Masters in Counselling Psychology and a Doctorate in Counselling and Psychotherapy, both from Yorkville University. Taylor is a Licensed Counselling Therapist, a Registered Psychotherapist, and a Canadian Certified Counsellor, and has training in a number of different therapeutic interventions including CBT, ITATM, and EMDR. She has been practicing as a counselling therapist for more than 8 years. Taylor enjoys working with a diverse network of clients and believes in a counselling approach which puts the client first and acknowledges that they are the expert in their own lives. Deborah Parkes, MSW, RSW, is a registered social worker in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Ontario with more than a dozen years of experience counselling individuals, couples, and families. Her education includes a Master of Arts in Counselling psychology from McGill University and a Master of Social Work from Université de Moncton. She also has a diploma in addictions care from McMaster University. Her work with couples includes supporting each person to identify and articulate what is going on for them that is creating challenges in the relationship. She helps clients build their skills for supporting themselves through difficult feelings, and for mastering good couple’s communication.
